We always enjoy attending the Jewson Roadshows and Jewson Live events. It’s an opportunity for branch managers to come and speak with us about our product range, ask for advice and hear about our plans for the year ahead.
This year, as well as bringing some goodie bags, we also brought the Hallstone Forklift Challenge with us. Collecting a couple of Hallstone bulk bags with an electric forklift truck might sound like an easy challenge, but, with the worst turning circle possible, sensitive controls and a tricky track, it was far from it! Having said that, we had some very fast times, the fastest being 29 seconds from Darren Glover at the Epsom Show (with a time like that, we suspect he might have his own electric forklift at home!).
