Profresh treatment extends the shelf-life of Hallstone Turf so that you can buy with greater confidence. As a stockist, you’ll have a longer window of opportunity to sell fresh turf; as a landscaper, greater flexibility on timescales for laying turf. Overall, less wastage and an improved bottom line.

Please note:

Even with ProFresh treated turf, it is very important that turves are rolled out within 24 hours in autumn/winter, and immediately on delivery to the installation site in spring and summer, to ensure that it does not overheat. Any turves that cannot be laid within these timescales should be unrolled (in the shade if possible) and watered well to prevent it from drying out. Turf should never be watered or covered while it is rolled up.

Due to the importance of caring for turf within the timescales detailed above, we recommend that time is allowed for ground preparation prior to delivery at the installation site.

Although every effort is made to minimise the occurrence of annual meadow grass, certain seasonal conditions can occasionally result in a higher level. Onsite growing conditions and maintenance can also increase its presence once laid. Hallstone turf may contain Oxygrid™ degradable net.
